The Cavern situated into the side of the Steps of Trial is a massive hollowed out mountain used to conduct regular trials of aspiring acolytes. For future guild warriors, the Trials of the Cavern are the immediate precursor to official Guild induction. Many Guild veterans will also compete in the trials to achieve superior completion times for bragging rights. New characters can choose to make their introductory thread out of their turn in the Trials, and established characters may also attempt the Trials, though it is generally established that they will succeed.
